AI Mail Series Ep 4: Adding an email account

In today’s fast-paced digital world, creating a seamless user experience is key, and Atom Mail makes managing email accounts intuitive and efficient. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the simple steps to add a new email account to your Atom Mail setup.

Step-by-Step Guide to Adding an Email Account:

  1. Navigating the Homepage:

Once you're on the Atom Mail homepage, locate the Create Account call-to-action (CTA) on the feature card. This button acts as your starting point for adding a new user.

  1. Redirect to the Accounts Tab

Upon clicking the Create Account CTA, you will be automatically redirected to the Accounts tab. This is where all your account-related actions happen, including managing existing accounts and adding new ones.

  1. Click on 'Add User'

On the Accounts tab, you’ll find an option to Add User. This button triggers the process of creating a new email account. Clicking on it will open up a pop-up form for you to fill out the required details.

  1. Filling in the Details
    The form will require the following information to set up the new account:
    1. Name: The name of the account holder.
    2. Phone Number: Contact details of the user.
    3. Storage Plan: Choose the appropriate storage plan for the account like Premium or Lite
    4. Email: Input the email address for the new user.
    5. Password: Set a secure password for the account.
    6. Profile Picture: Optionally, you can upload a profile picture for personalization.
  1. Confirming the Account

Once all fields are filled, simply click on Confirm. At this stage, the account details will be submitted.

  1. Account Activation

After confirmation, the email account will be added, but the account will only be active once it’s approved by the admin. This final step ensures secure and proper validation of new user accounts before they become functional.
